As a child, Caravaggio’s Medusa terrified me. Reimagining her with Keppu’s big eyes became my way of exorcising that fear—transforming it into something entirely new. I preserved the dramatic impact of the original but reinterpreted it through a rainbow palette that turns terror into wonder.
